Paper Shredder General Maintenance

To prolong the life and operational health of your shredder, it is essential to clean the unit upon emptying the paper bin/bag.

To do this, first run the shredder in reverse for 30 seconds. This process cleans the blades of any debris. After that, you then need to lubricate the blades. The easiest way to do this is to apply paper shredder oil to a sheet of paper, and then simply run the paper through the shredding process as normal.
